PequenaSold to Sedalia, CO.
Pequena is a very well bred mare by Cordobes (Contender) whose
pedigree includes such greats as Landgraf, Polydor, Ramiro.
Coldstern and Pilot.
This very attractive mare was selected and imported by Plum Creek
Hollow Farm as a four year old because she demonstrated tremendous
jumping talent and style. She has been brought along slowly
and carefully and received excellent training at PCH
during the past year and a half.
Pequena is very easy and comfortable to ride, not marish, and is a pleasure to ride outside on hacks,
either alone or in company. She is easy and steady to the jumps and her demeanor is quiet and co-operative
and always willing. Pequena has very good conformation and a beautiful feminine head. We can't say she's
true black because of her dark brown muzzle, but she looks to be black.
This lovely mare would be suitable for a capable child, a Young Rider or an amateur. She is easy, safe, confortable and a real
confidence builder. She is easy to handle, easy to rate to the jumps, good before and after the jump and really comfortable to
ride. Pequena is a confident and easy jumper and she is also easily adaptable for the hunter ring. She is a really nice mover and
has won ribbons in both hunter over fences and the hack (High Prairie Farm, Parker, Colorado, 2009). As you can see from her
pictures
and video, she has good form over fences and also moves well under saddle
for the hack classes.
This very special mare will more than fit the bill for
many types and ages of
riders, from experienced children to small adults.
She is easy, fun, pretty,
comfortable and safe.
